With the threat of civilization-distrupting climate change looming over the nation's and planet's future, the late months of 2018 have begun what has potential to be a significant moment for the political establishment to act on climate and begin a real and meaningful path towards sustainability.
Referenced from Franklin D. Roosvelt's plan to bring the country out of the Great Depression, the framework for a Green New Deal (GND) is being lead by US Congressional Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to establish a committee to sprearhead this initiative in Congress.
